In 2016, Rheinhessen celebrated a great anniversary year on the occasion of its 200th anniversary. The Forest for Life Foundation had a brilliant idea. A tree is to be planted for each year: 200 trees for 200 years of Rheinhessen. A plot of land is quickly found - in Zornheim. And tree donors are also found quickly. And so it happened that on October 29, 2016, on a golden October day, around 400 people came together in Zornheim and celebrated a wonderful tree planting festival.
