Here at Riversmeet where the rivers Clyst and Exe join, you can get close to the mudflats action thanks to the brilliant viewing platform that's part of RSPB Bowling Green Marshes.

Reach it via the narrow, often muddy paths through the gate near the bird hide. There's great signage to help you identify wading birds, ducks and seabirds, as well as a phenomenal view downstream and across to the Lympstone Marine Camp and Exmouth beyond.
