The castle was built from 1904-1907 in an eclectic style, with a tendency towards neo-baroque. The client was Baroness Sneyers-d'Attenhoven.
Striking is the square turret, with a constricted needle spire.
The park belonging to this castle is a 2-hectare split from the Cleepachthof, an older domain that also once housed a castle.
The park contains a number of remarkable trees, but a vegetable garden and a water feature are missing.
