This bird watch tower is also a general watch tower. Because the domain of the Millennial Oak is already on the flank of the Willekensberg, you can already see a few things in the wider area (for example, the Venusberg, the slag heap of Beringen). On top of the watchtower there are information boards that tell you what is there and what you can see. Or should be able to see, each time with extra information (some examples with the photos). Unfortunately, the builders did not really take into account the fact that trees grow, I think, because some places are no longer visible. Still definitely worth it with a nice view over the domain and the flower meadow and field (where the tower is located behind) laid out by Natuurpunt.

In this tower you can go up the stairs to spot birds in the distance. Take your binoculars with you!
