Waldruh Dietramszell Memorial Forest

Waldruh Dietramszell was only created in September 2020. It's a really nice place to think about your loved ones and find solace in harmony with nature.
The location of the devotional pavilion with a view over the idyllic Dietramszell forest pond is a special highlight, but the same rules apply as in a cemetery!
Waldruh Dietramszell is an alternative to the classic cemetery. A tree takes on the function of a tombstone. You can rent a tree for the family for a one-off price until at least 2099. That is how long the lease agreement between the Dietraszell community and the owner runs.
An employee of the forest administration told me that Waldruh Dietramszell is also open to bereavement from other communities. There are even families who gather by their tree at the same time every year to commemorate their loved ones, and not infrequently with a hike in the beautiful Nat
