This approximately 450-year-old post mill can be viewed in the mill garden of the Salder Castle Museum. It was originally located in the SZ-Osterlinde district and is one of the few 40 wind and water mills in this area that has remained. Besides her there is a water mill in Lobmachtersen / Gebhardshagen and another post mill in Lichtenberg.
In the immediate vicinity is the Ice Age Garden, which is also interesting for smaller visitors with its woolly rhinoceros and mammoth.
