Between the two towns of Roisdorf and Alfter, halfway up the foothills, hikers and walkers come across a wooden wayside cross right next to the Mandt estate. The well-maintained small sacred monument has a rather unusual shape: the typical crossbeam of the cross is missing. It is provided with a corpus, an INRI plaque and a protective gable roof.
