The two districts that make up Catremerio are certainly among the most beautiful and best recovered in the area. In the village you can find the typical architectural elements of peasant houses from the sixteenth and eighteenth centuries. The external wooden galleries that connect the blocks, the chimneys and the tile roofs, the drainage channels traced in the pavement, deserve an in-depth visit and many photographs. All the houses of Catremerio di Qua, also known as the "Sgarbui = Lawyers" are arranged in a circle and overlook a small square where the wonderful architectural games made of external wooden stairs, galleries and lobbies that connect the houses stand out.

The houses can be dated to around the eighteenth century and some dates 1738, 1754 carved on the entrance vaults can be seen.

Also worthy of note is the characteristic passage portico that crosses a house and allows access to the mule track that leads to the other district and to the church.

On the ground floor of the various houses, the rooms reflect the architecture of the "Silter = Casere", once used as stables, alongside the kitchens characterized by stone floors.

Some of them retain the ancient fireplace, the stove and the sideboard.

The windows and doors are of different sizes and shapes, with a prevalence of arched style.

At the center of the narrow path that crosses the village of Catremerio di Qua, runs a small drainage channel of the roofs, which collects and conveys the water downstream, numerous fountains and wash houses near the village.

The most important festival in the village of Catremerio is that of San Gaetano, with functions, procession and celebrations that last three days.
