The Seytes hamlet, inhabited by shepherds, was definitively abandoned in 1923. In 1925 the shepherd Bergero bought houses and pastures, transforming it into a pasture where butter, cheeses and "Sairas del fen" (a ricotta seasoned in hay) were produced. In 1944 the Germans, during a roundup against the partisans, set it on fire but the shepherds continued to use it until 1987.

A small village within the Val Troncea natural park, with a few houses and many ruins. In summer, along the path that comes from the Troncea refuge, it is possible to meet many nice marmots.
