This masterpiece of Gothic architecture is distinguished by its soaring spires and medieval stained-glass windows. The Great East Window is the largest stained-glass window in the world. It dates back to the 15th century and is commonly referred to as the "Heart of Yorkshire" because of its distinctive shape.
Whilst visiting the Minster, I'd recommend ascending the towers for panoramic views of the whole city, or take a guided tour for a deeper look into the history.
