Hiking
The park was laid out in 1929 as an ornamental park, but was redesigned as a utility park in 1948. You will find tennis courts, hiking trails, playground equipment, a fishing pond and football pitches. It has been officially called Vroesenpark since 1977. The name comes from the Vroesen family, a Rotterdam family that once provided mayors for the city.
