The Hermitage of Santa Rita, located in Pedroveya, is a beautiful building located in the Protected Landscape of the Sierra del Aramo, in the municipality of Santo Adriano. Although it is currently closed to worship, its history and architecture make it stand out.
The hermitage dates back to the 17th century and was expanded in 1784 thanks to the generosity of Don Manuel de Gracia, who paid for its expansion with a large side chapel. In this chapel there was the image of Saint Rita.

The small church stands at the end of the Ruta de las Xanas and is a good turning point if you walk it back and forth - or a good resting place if you want to continue in a different direction.
