Location: Klausen - Chiusa, South Tyrol, Italy
"Panorama" is an exaggeration. In fact, you only catch four or five glimpses of the Peitlerkofel, the Geissler Group, the Fonteklaus, and the seemingly tiny Eisack Valley between the tall bushes. But you can constantly hear the roar of the highway.A more beautiful descent to Klausen begins very close to this panoramic trail t1p.de/fy2my. It leads through the quiet Tinnebach gorge behind Säben Monastery and ends... at the Eiscafé Mary 🤪

Klausen offers typical South Tyrolean town flair with its romantic, winding streets in the heart of the Eisacktal. Klausen has about 4,600 inhabitants and is located at 523 m asl - the medieval town is dominated by the Säbener Klosterberg, one of the oldest places of pilgrimage in Tyrol.
