Here you can see the remains of an old hut forest. Animals used to be herded into the forest to graze and the hornbeams were cut to produce fodder for the cattle. Most of the old tree veterans are now dead, but they are still very impressive. One tries to maintain the Hutewald character or to create a new one. Cattle and goats are also allowed in there to graze.
