In the castle forest, east of Reichertshausen, there is a place called "Brautlache". A Marterl reminds us that once a groom wanted to pick up his bride in a carriage in nearby Paunzhausen and the horses shied away at this point. The carriage overturned. The groom was able to jump off to the side, but the bride fell with the carriage into a "puddle" in which she drowned.
