Although the entire roof covering has been replaced in recent years, the masonry is in a deplorable condition. Due to the progressive erosion of the brittle sandstone and various crack formations, its stability is at acute risk. The damage to the tower is particularly problematic, where a large block of wall in the southeast corner is in danger of collapsing. There is a partial risk of collapse here.
