In 1966, 7-year-old Michael from Röhrmoos had a very serious accident. The boy was in a coma for weeks, the doctors had already given him up. His parents didn't know what to do - hope and despair passed from one hour to the next. Worst of all was the impotence of being able to do nothing but pray and hope for a miracle. The condition finally improved and the boy slowly recovered. The parents were overjoyed and when Michael was discharged from the hospital completely healthy, Anna and Josef Westermayr wanted to thank God for this miracle. They made the decision to have a chapel built to save their only son.

Many years passed, everyday life and work came to the fore again. But the plan was still not forgotten. After 30 years, the parents realized their plan and in 1996 let the St. Build a chapel consecrated to Michael. The family is continuing an old tradition.
