The richly decorated Trinity Column was erected in 1719. The base bears the inscription Michael and Catharina Lantz 1719. According to legend, Michael and Katharina Lanz donated the entire dowry for the erection of the Trinity Column after the death of their only daughter Elisabeth, who is said to have died suddenly the day before the wedding.
