Spital am Pyhrn is located between the Warscheneck massif and the Haller walls at the foot of the Pyhrnpass on the border with Styria. It is the southernmost municipality in the Pyhrn-Priel holiday region. Above all, the baroque collegiate church - the "Dom am Pyhrn" - shapes the cultural image of the community. But the two-storey, late Gothic rock church St. Leonhard, the blacksmith's and hoof smithy Lindermayr as a show smithy are worth a visit.
