The Römerbrunnen is an idyllic and popular excursion destination in the middle of the forest under large trees. Seating sets and a barbecue area are available. No drinking water. Around the Römerbrunnen there is a 4.2 km forest adventure trail with twelve adventure stations. The barbecue area at the Römerbrunnen in the Weißenburg city forest is the focus of local recreation for visitors to the city forest. Numerous legends circulate about its importance in Roman times. The spring version, however, dates from the 16th century.
