The community of Wackersdorf has set a living monument to the folklorist and fairy tale collector Franz-Xaver von Schönwerth: The Upper Palatinate Fairy Tale Garden. Many of his stories come to life in a fairytale-like manner on display boards, illustrations and wooden sculptures in the facility, directly on the circular route around Lake Murner.
