Visit nature under the most famous bridge in the Netherlands, named after a real baron. The cathedral-like appearance of the bridge, the remains of the construction dock for the metro, the allotments, the Scottish Highlanders. All this creates a special backdrop for nature theater, bird watchers and walkers, sportsmen, fishermen, gardeners and children playing. On the Eiland van Brienenoord, nature sets foot in the city.

Right under the Van Brienenoord Bridge in Rotterdam you walk through a beautiful nature reserve with woods, grass plains, open water, small pools and along a real tidal channel. Scottish Highlanders graze the vegetation shortly and there are all kinds of birds, plants and butterflies. The nature playground, the endless fishing water and the allotments are a relief for residents of the urban jungle. Truly the resting point in the largest working city in our country and a really strange place. As if you ended up in the setting of a movie.
