    This oval barn is one of the last examples of built heritage of this type in the three neighboring cantons of Corrèze, Haute-Vienne and Dordogne. Built to the east of the plot bordered to the north by the house and to the south by the pigsty, the building housed under the same thatched roof an area to be threshed and a shed for agricultural equipment, a hayloft, a barn, a stable and a chicken coop.
    Work has enabled this remarkable building to be restored to its original condition, with the reuse of the various materials present on the building, such as old timber and exterior joinery, if necessary. A cross-border partnership could be formalized for the laying of thatch roofing.
