Donja Stubica was known for its mills, and milling was of particular importance in our area. Today one can visit and see one of the beautiful examples of the restored mill. The former Tomašković mill, built at the beginning of the 20th century, was renovated by the Majsec family and is today known as the Majsec mill. This landscaped area with a wooden mill and a stream at the foot of the Medvednica Nature Park shows the distinctive beauty of the Zagorje landscape. The mill is fully functional, it grinds grain from old varieties of cereals, and white corn stands out, from which you can buy a useful souvenir "Majsecov žaklec" on the property. water pond, forest stream and singing birds, visitors can also enjoy the indigenous local cuisine.
