The longest museum railway in the Netherlands. Get in for a trip back in time on the border of Groningen and Drenthe! A day out for young and old.
After the last freight trains ran in 1990, from 1994 the trains of the Museum Railway STAR came, so that the railway is preserved as an industrial monument. During our driving days, historic steam trains and diesel trains will run between Veendam, Stadskanaal and Nieuw Buinen.
