Bordered to the south by the Durance Valley, the Ecrins massif rises again above 2000 meters above sea level with these beautiful limestone needles that dominate Lake Serre-Ponçon. The highest is accessible to hikers who are not afraid of heights and passages that are a little steep, even a little exposed. The panorama from the top, overlooking the 1,700 m high Serre-Ponçon Lake, is a great reward.
