You need sturdy shoes and should be sure-footed, as the hiking trail becomes more challenging towards the top of the massif.

Direction, the Aiguilles de Chabrière. We stopped when it became mountaineering, for the more seasoned, you can go all the way to the top.
Quiet descent along the stony path to the resort. Transition from the crystalline to the most fantastic plant.
