The parish church in the center of Bohinjska Bistrica was first mentioned in 1689.
The originally baroque building was replaced by a new one in neo-Romanesque and neo-Renaissance style towards the end of the 19th century. Also interesting are the wall paintings, the work of Matija Koželj from 1884.translated by•October 24, 2022
