House Werburg is a former moated castle. Today there are still a mansion, a Renaissance gatehouse and a half-timbered barn. Today the Werburg-Museum Spenge is located in the manor house. The gatehouse was already used by the city of Spenge as a wedding room for the local registry office before it was renovated in 2005/2006. The half-timbered barn is available as a multifunctional space for events in the city, for museum education and for special exhibitions of the Werburg Museum.
