Hiking
The refuge in Koppental is a full-blown log cabin, where hungry and thirsty hikers can provide delicious food and drinks. The Kaiserschmarrn tastes particularly good here under the dense foliage of the forest, while the Koppentraun roars only a few meters away steadily through the valley.
The refuge is open from May to October, Thursdays to Sundays. In the high season from June to September, it even opens its doors every day.

Cycling
A very nice little shelter in Koppental. The must tastes good and certainly other things too. Actually located only on a hiking trail because the ÖBB has set up a driving ban. With caution and consideration, it can also be safely reached by bike. Behind the hut is a water point with the clearest water. It is again grateful to be amazed at what a wonderful, clean landscape we can live in.
