Fountain at the foot of the track with two stone benches to sit on and that always flows water

    Translated by Google •

It is a small but abundant fountain and drinking water, it has some Gaudí-style benches, where you can rest and feel the silence of nature for a while, it is very cool.

Located at the foot of the track and in front of the entrance to the Jardins del Viver de Can Borni we find the fountain. It was reshaped in the early 1990's. The fountain is made of slate stone, crowned by a semi-solid brick arch. On the left we find a winding bank of white trencadis and on the other side a large planter, also made of slate. The pavement, also made of slate, connects all the elements in an arch. The source is mine, with abundant fresh water flowing continuously throughout the year, overflowing through the door itself in episodes of heavy rain. The water goes to a basin, also formed of stone, which ends up being channeled to the pond of the Jardins del Viver de Can Borni, with which the garden areas of the nursery are irrigated. When the pond is full, the excess water is drifting down the side of the mountain, re-infiltrating the subsoil. The last conservation intervention dates back to 2020.
