The Catholic parish church, laying out church Mariae Himmelfahrt is located in Steinamangererstraße 13a in Oberwart and is listed under the object ID: 8329. A Romanesque building with a mighty west tower, a long nave and a small recessed round apse. The tower was expanded in 1656 and around 1800 an upper floor and the onion helmet were added to it. In 1975, Romanesque windows were uncovered on the south front of the nave, which was baroque in 1728 and 1778. In the same year the Romanesque apse was excavated.
