Wooler is a pretty market town situated at the foot of the Cheviot Hills on the northeastern edge of the Northumberland National Park. It is a great base to explore the national park and has an excellent range of accommodation, lots of places to eat and drink, shops and other attractions.

Known as the "Gateway to the Cheviots", Wooler is a small town on the edge of the Northumberland National Park.

It’s a lovely town and a popular base for walkers. It has its own Youth Hostel with locally made Shepherd’s Huts for hire.
