On the footpath from Spring Street to Smiling Hill Farm, you can cross the wetland over a wide wooden bridge over Clark Brook. Forestry vehicles may also use this crossing for forestry work. The floor of the bridge hangs just a few centimetres above the water surface and is likely to be under water during high water.
