The Holy Monastery of Faneromeni Salamina is a historic monastery located on the north-western coast of the island of Salamina in which there was a very old and half-ruined Christian church in which an icon of the Virgin was found by Lambros Kannelos, who built and monasticized in the monastery to be canonized by the Orthodox church named Osios Lavrentios. It belongs ecclesiastically to the Holy Metropolis of Megaron and Salaminos.
