The beautiful, historic mill consists of two half-timbered buildings of different ages. The water wheel can still be seen.

The watermill, built in 1748, is located right in the center of the municipality of Ladbergen and consists of a smaller section on the south side and a larger section, built later, on the north side of the mill stream.

A beautiful mill. Unfortunately, the adjacent restaurant has been empty for some time.

The watermill, built in 1748, is located directly in the center of the municipality of Ladbergen and consists of a smaller section on the south side and a larger section built later on the north side of the mill stream.
The smaller, southern section of the mill, also called the old "Lütke" or Frenking's Mill, dates back to 1748 and was built as a Prussian treasury mill. It was therefore the property of the Prussian state during the reign of Frederick II, which explains the letters FR (Friedericus Rex) carved next to the year. Until the turn of the century, the half-timbered building served as a flour mill and later as a wheelwright's shop. Today, the southern section houses a vacation apartment.
