Tips
The Dorlar lock, like many such small locks, is free for pleasure boaters. It must be operated manually by the respective "skipper". Instructions are attached. The lock was completely renovated a while ago. And if everyone treats it with care, it will last for a long time. Alternatively, a boat canal, as in Gießen, would have to be set up so that canoeists and paddlers can pass through the site.
