St. Martin's Church is the church of the Evangelical Lutheran congregation and was consecrated in 1854. It was the towerless prayer house of the Old Lutherans, who opposed the unification of the Lutheran and Reformed churches decreed from above.
There is no reliable information about the exact founding date of St. Martin's Church. In 1841, Angermünde became the parish of the Old Lutheran Church, and in 1848, St. Martin's Church received its own pastor. St. Martin's Church was consecrated in 1854 and is now a listed building.
