This cycle path for the Speulderbos must be one of the most beautiful cycle paths in the Netherlands. The paved path winds wonderfully through the fairytale deciduous forest and the path seems to have no end. Please note that the path can be busy, especially on weekends, with other cyclists, elderly people and families. Because the path is also quite narrow, it is mainly suitable for touring, not racing.

Road cycling

There are few who cycle this narrow winding path through the forest and are not impressed. The cycle path goes through the center of the beautiful Speulderbos with its dancing deciduous trees, making it a beautiful connection between Garderen and the Drie hamlet on the north side. Tip: in Drie there is also a nice forest restaurant that is well worth a stop.
