Hiking
Upper Dicker is a gorgeous little village near the market town of Hailsham. It is close to the moated Augustine Michelham Priory, which is well worth a visit. The village is also just a stone's throw away from Wilmington Wood and its many trails. In the warmer months, the sea of bluebells here is magnificent.
The village has a great pub, The Plough, which serves excellent food. As well as this, the charming Village Shop and Cafe is a good place to grab a coffee and a slice of cake.
