This pedunculate oak (Quercus robur) is on the way from the Mellnauer Kreuz towards Mellnau. It is already starting to become hollow from the inside and has a lightning groove on the side pointing away from the path. Its trunk circumference is 1.30 meters high and 4.71 meters. It is estimated that it was planted around 1780.
