Unlike Roundthorn Bridge just to the north east, Morris' Bridge lifts via a hand-operated windlass. Sitting just above the water level, it's a remarkable experience to watch the bridge lift and allow a canal boat underneath.

Built around 1800, the bridge has enjoyed renovations but largely remains in its original form.
