Who was the "builder" here? The several hundred year old linden tree in the inner courtyard of the mill is an old dancing linden tree, as can be admired in Effeltrich on the village square opposite the fortified church. One can clearly see below around the tree trunk on the first branch level, the "dance floor", which used to be made of boards.
The Steinbacher Mühle, from the 14th / 15th centuries. Century, once also housed a stately inn.
