The gorge runs from Rückersbach to the Schluchthof near Kleinostheim and is widely known for its steep walls and rocks. In the gorge, several small stone bridges lead over the Rückersbach. At the Schluchthof the Rückersbach reaches a shallow depression, is artificially diverted to the south and then bends again in a westerly direction. The stream bed runs today in the ditch of the road to Waldstadt. After about 500 m the Rückersbach flows into the Haggraben.
