In the Veurs valley you will get to know an ecologically very valuable area in the feeding paradise of the Voerstreek. The valley includes the source area of the Veursbeek and the surrounding valley grounds. At dusk you can sometimes spot a deer or boar here, because at night they leave the forest to forage for food in the open valley. The little dormouse and the songbird red-backed shrike feel at home in the existing wood edges and standard orchards.
