The trail down to the Pool is difficult to negotiate, hence rope most of the way, to assist with the journey down, and back up again.

WARNING: Please take pepper spray, a pocket knife, or foldable batton with you, when running, or hiking in this area.

I've done this trail on my own, yet took a pocket knife, and I'm skilled in close-quarters combat too.
