The gardens of Marqueyssac were awarded in 2004 by the French Ministry of Culture as "jardin remarquable" (German: remarkable garden). The park was rebuilt in the second half of the 19th century by the castle heir Julien de Cerval. It offers over 22 hectares over six kilometers predominantly shaded walks, a labyrinth of 150,000 hand-cut, century-old box trees and a variety of remarkable trees, shrubs and shrubs.
