The watermill in the Furlbachtal was created in 1849 by August Bödeker as a flour mill and was popularly called Tütgemühle. The mill was in operation until about 1925. Then a new mill with motor drive was created by the former miller on Holzkämper's colonate. The Tütgemühle was called since then "Old Mill". It was rebuilt in 1951 by the parenting of the Sudbrackschule in Bielefeld to a country school home. Land has been part of the waterworks of the city of Bielefeld since about 1939 as a water protection area "**
