View of Bahlingen

Beautiful view of the Little Owl Trail - one of the large, well-signposted themed trails through the Kaiserstuhl. Views of the village of Bahlingen, the Breisgau and the Dreisam and numerous places all the way to Freiburg, behind them the mighty mountain ridges of the High Black Forest (with the nearby Kandel in the center), and the village of Riegel with the Michaelsberg. And all of this with the vineyards and the hills of the Kaiserstuhl behind you.

The little owl path between Riegel and Wasenweiler is highly recommended as a diverse hiking trail on the eastern and southeastern edge of the Kaiserstuhl.
