After coming from the Gaudeamushütte on the "Klamml-way" the plateau on which the Gruttenhütte is located, it is worth again to go left and take a look at the villages of the Wilder Kaiser region and the Hohe Tauern.
From the Gruttenhütte the view is quite identical, however, there is always quite a lot going on, so that this place offers a little more peace before.
